Like many good stories, this one starts with two friends.

Marco, hailing from Hong Kong but residing in Manchester. Ijaz, originating from South Africa but calling London home, forged a bond during their second-week of their fully-remote Software Engineering Bootcamp.

United by their shared passion for comics and programming, they quickly formed an unbreakable friendship. Inspired by their favourite heroes, they bestowed upon themselves call signs, with Marco embracing the revered alias Ironman and Ijaz adopting the mantle of Batman.

This tradition preserved during their internship with School Of Code, fuelling their collaborative programming endeavours, evoking the spirit of their fictional idols with every line of code they wrote.

What is School Of Code?

School of Code is about opening the opportunity of tech up to everyone. Their free coding bootcamp takes you from 0 to programmer and launches you into a tech career with their Employer Partners. They've achieved a 75-95% employment in tech despite most Bootcampers having never seen a line of code before they start the course!
