We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use explain how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use our Google Calendar add-on. EventTemplates only requests the minimum-required permissions that are essential for it to function optimally.

Google Calendar Data

Disclosure: EventTemplates use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. EventTemplates is also subject to the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement. 
  • We need to access your Google Calendar data in order to gather the ID of your event and store event templates created by the user into a Google Sheet the user has created. The service uses the official Google Calendar API to access your calendar data and can access the data according to the G Suite permissions of the Google user used with the Service. You can revoke access for the Service to your calendar data at any time in the Google account security settings. 
Here are the key reasons why we need access to the following sensitive and/or restricted user data outlined in the following Google API Scopes:

  • EventTemplates will use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar to retrieve a user’s calendar event data when exporting event details to Sheets. So that the user can use their Google sheet for storing templates created on the add-on.
  • EventTemplates will also use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar in correspondence with https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds to authorize the use of methods used to allow the user to create events directly from the add-on.

  • EventTemplates will use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets to connect our add-on with the Google Sheet the user has created. Our add-on will only interact with spreadsheets the user has personally configured/created on their account based on a template we will provide.

  • EventTemplates add-on for G Suite will use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.addons.execute to make the app available in the Calendar Add-ons bar.

  • EventTemplates will use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.locale to retrieve the user’s time zone used when exporting data to sheets.

  • Our app may allow you to create and store templates. You are solely responsible for the templates you create and store and must ensure that it does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others.

  • Our app and all its content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy or modify its content without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties:

  • We make no representations or warranties about the reliability, accuracy, or completeness of our app or its content. Our app is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability:

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our app, including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, use, data, or other intangibles, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
